There are some fingermarks and partially detached leaves in the ordinary, the rest of the text is clean. The text is mostly parallel Latin and English. It is illustrated with wood cuts in the text .

Volume one has gift inscription on second page. The back cover of volume four is torn at the bottom of the spine for two inches. There is also a small tear at the top edge of the spine on volume two.

No. 1600-3. This edition distributed by the E.M. Lohmann Company of Saint Paul. A sharp copy of perhaps the most complete and best hand-missal produced before the Second Vatican Council.
