Hardcover, bound in black pictorial boards with a red cloth spine, in an illustrated dust wrapper by Dr. Seuss picturing Bartholomew Cubbins. The edges of the covers are slightly rubbed. The corners of the dust jacket are slightly worn and the head and tail of the jacket's spine are chipped. There are short chips & tiny tears to the edges of the jacket. The top corner of the jacket's front flap is clipped but the price is present, though partially inked out, at the bottom of the flap.
