Methuen & Co., 1906, second edition. Slightly less ornate version of this very ornate title. Spine is faded, boards have some scuffing and soiling, corners are bumped. Toning on front pastedown, inner hinges are weak but not cracked, binding is secure. Illustrated by members of the Birmingham Art School.

Macmillan Co., 1952, first US ed. Light soiling and spotting on boards, previous owner's name on front endpage. DJ has some edge wear and soiling, 2" chip missing from top corner of front panel. Binding is tight. DJ protected in clear mylar cover. See photos.

Whittlesey House, 1945. Second printing. DJ is chipped and worn with several tears and a light stain on back panel, previous owner's name on front inner flap. Book has some edge wear on corners and spine ends, a few minor weak spots in the binding but still secure, no loose pages. See pics.
