Near bottom of this page is a 6-line inscription signed by Ann B. Neuman who says that Mr. Neuman was a close friend of Dobie & gave the latter many stories. Therefore, an unusual multiple association copy. The unfavorable news is that the back cover of this copy has a tideline stain on a lower quadrant. This 1996 broadside contains an excerpt from Doig's 1983 work. The fine paper is light grayish-brown in color and the illustrations are quite subtle. Fine. Will be shipped flat to buyer.
