Vintage Young Readers from RCR Books

Three volume set of the true story written by Jimmy Mattern The pages and bindings are in very good condition. Book one has rusty staples in the binding that don't hurt anything in my opinion. The covers have fading as expected with age.

Stated First Printing. F13. The dust jacket appears to have been taped to the inside of the boards, thus some discoloration on the end pages. The book has a child's name written in pencil on the front end page. No other markings or damaged pages. Covers show minor wear on edges and corners are bumped. Vivid illustrations and wonderful stories. Two copyright dates are shown on the title page, 1939 and 1955. This is an excellent vintage book for a young reader.
