Unclipped dust jacket shows edgewear, rubbing, several closed tears, and chipping, primarily at head and tail of spine. Dust jacket now in archival protective sleeve. The harrowing story of the author's six-year ordeal, from her prosperous middle-class family home in Poland, through her enslavement by the Nazis regime, to her liberation by American troops.
