Book looks NEVER READ. Book VERY FINE, Dust Jacket Very Good. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED and has only minor creases and chips. Being white it is a bit marked by adjacent books, is also a bit age darkened. DJ spine has minor chipping at top, a 1/2 inch tear at bottom and a thin black line across (owner’s code, not a remainder mark). Front fold has a small chip, front cover has small piece of a price tag. Sewn binding. Boards are light tan with spine and 1/3 of boards in red cloth with orange and black lettering. Book is clean, tight, bright with slight bit of shelf mark on bottom edge of boards, and a small 1/16 inch x 1/4 inch light brown mark on top page edges. Rag edge pages. No illustrations. No photos. Book is unread, no spine creases, pages feel as if never opened. Covers are yellow, lettering grey/red/purple/green, pictorial front. Spine is straight, square, solid, no sunning, no creases, no chips, no rips. Covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no vertical creases beside spine, front cover has one medium crease mark in a closed location at bottom middle, covers have one small area each of very light whitish fade in the yellow for some reason but is hardly noticeable, book has no edge wear. Book interior is TIGHT, clean, but spine is broken, Covers Near Fine. Cover has illustrative front. Back cover is white, slightly age darkened and rubbed against adjacent book, with a bit of shelf wear to bottom edge. Spine is age darkened, has two vertical creases, has thin black line across (not a remainder mark). Front cover is a bit age darkened and has a bit of shelf wear along spine edge. Interior of book is clean, tight. The cover has become unglued to page 245. The spine is also broken at page 128 and 245, but no pages loose or missing. No illustrations. No photos.

Jacket is white so it shows slight rubbing against adjacent book. DJ spine and fold edges are age darkened, thin black line across spine (owner’s code, not a remainder mark). Jacket has a few creases and a few very small chips. Sewn binding. Book corners are straight, boards are not worn. Top page edges tinted red, as issued. Price in ink, small, on ffep. A few of bottom edge of pages slightly shelf marked. Pages 158 to 164 have tips of top corners wrinkled but are restored flat. Book is clean, tight, bright. Rag edge pages. No illustrations. No photos. Book club edition.

Boards and spine are blue cloth, silver lettering. Very slight age lightening of boards at top and bottom edges. Very slight white mark down left side of spine. Slight sagging of interior as this is a large heavy book. Black/white illustrations. No photos. Seven classic espionage stories. A large heavy book, therefore postage is not the same as for a lighter item.

Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has some chipping along edges, some creases, and a scratch on the DJ back which did not break the paper. Dust jacket white parts are a bit age darkened and slightly rubbed by adjacent book, DJ black parts are slightly rubbed by adjacent book. DJ has a 1/2 inch tear at front fold. DJ has slight moisture stain on inside, which is also on the back board although it is almost invisible except where a tiny bit of paper stuck to the board. Book covers are clean, corners straight, only a few creases at bottom of spine. Book is clean, tight, is slightly over-opened at page 20, 24 and 52 but binding is not broken and no pages are loose or missing. A few very… Read More
