It was especially strong in romances of chivalry, chivalric epics and burlesque, which together account for approximately 150 items. Presentation copy inscribed in pencil from Geo. A. Plimpton to Harold Godwin, with Godwin's bookplate. Loosely inserted is a folded offprint from Science, Oct 26, 1928: "The History of Elementary Mathematics in the Plimpton Library." Boards rubbed, top edge smokestained, title page and prelims spotted from offsetting, otherwise a good copy.
