Outstanding collection, assembled at the time, of this series of engraved plates of Spanish costumes, delicately hand-colored and originally published in installments. The fifteen installments of eight plates, totaling the collection, had become almost impossible to gather, so shortly after their release, volumes of one hundred and twelve plates like this one were created from the remaining prints.
