Has name on front-free endoage. Quite heavy foxing especially in beginning and marks left inside from previously being attached to a taped jacket. Map intact and in good condition. Has some slight previous moisture damage down low on front-board. Binding tight. The jacket is a facsimile!

Both the book and the dust-jacket is in good condition. The dust-jacket seems to have coloured of with some small sort of moisture damage. This is very common on the first editions on The lord of the rings and is common. Has a name written on front-free endpage. The map is in good condition snd fully intact and the pages inside are fresh in good condition.

True first state jacket. With d cut off on frodo etc. Book also first state with date 1954 in two places on first two pages and no other statement off later printing. No bad smell on book. Some minor darkening in places. It has a small dust-stain on lower left on back of jacket. the spine of jacket looks a little bit tanned as in having a bit lighter colours. In good condition. The interior really is in good condition without tears stains or dog-ears or ex-libris stamps. The map has some green spots or previous now dry mold? on it. It also has a small tape restoration. This is absolutely great condition for being a ex-libris binding.

New binding. I have found two library stamps. Has some small stains but overall the pages are really fresh. The map has some tears but is still attached. The last page has a tear but is still attached. Some strenghtening tape on inner part of front-board. Very early edition of The fellowship only 3 years after original release.

A really nice set. Fellowship has some tears on jacket that has been closed with some tape on inside. The two towers dust-jacket is excellent with a small closed tear on front of jacket. Return of the king also excellent with a blue stain on back of jacket. All the books are in great condition with vibrant gilt and no writing with intact maps in very good conditions. Return of the king book has a stain if looked from up to down on outside of pages. A very nice set.

Called dödssynden this is the first swedish edition of to kill a mockingbird (dödssynden) scarce. from 1960.

In swedish. Dust-jacket has two small marks down low from previous price. It has some small discolouration and some small tears and scratch-marks on back of jacket. While the back of dust-jacket is very good front is even better and only has some press-damage on top high up on the right side. In amazing condition

Missing map. Has some stains inside and also outwardly on pages. But overall good inside since this has previously belonged to a library stains are small inside but there are stains on many pages. Inner part of front and back-board has previous tape-marks the boards outwardly also has this. There is also some now dry waterdamage on boards as seen. Has number stamped and library stamp on printpage. This is the true first edition with 1954 both on titlepage and printpage. There is some wear on both low down on spine and high up. The book has been reglued on spine and also inside to make binding tighter. A true first edition of the american Fellowship of the ring. The jacket is not a original one but a facsimile.

Volume 2 has a dark stain along the top edge which extends into the printing on some of the pages. The printing can still be read but it is there. It starts small in the crease at page 67, gets progressively bigger until about pages 218-219, then gets smaller and goes away by the 380s. The books were published by Redfield 110 & 112 Nassau-Street, New York, 1855 This is the two first volumes of a 3 volume set but third volume is just literary critics and such so the 2 first are by far the most important. Somewhat dry in places but binding holds well and this is not a bad problem. Follows the first print from 1850.

The flap with the price 15.95 has almost fallen off. Otherwise jacket is mostly in good condition.First edition but not first print

One of only 750 first. Very scarce with dust-jacket. The book has writing inside on front free endpaper. The dust-jacket is surprisingly well-preserved.

Jacket has a few small closed tears the biggest probably the low one on spine. Book has some small spoting on spine-sides as seen some very small wear on top and low down on spine. The lowest part of spine has almost (90%) fallen off that part also has mark from previous tape. Dust-jacket has sone faint marks fron previous tape on left flap. No marks internally. Good condition.
