About This Item
New York: New American Library / Plume, 1971. pbk. VG-/None. First Plume printing, softcover, 311 pages. The only signed copy of this edition currently online, this one is inscribed in red felt-tip thus: for Jill - with admiration and love - Susan August 1972. Jill is late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010), critic, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and the book also bears her distinctive stamp in blue ink on the inner half-title page which reads "Write first. then live." J.J. Condition is just less than very god with edge-wear to covers including chipping along spine at rear & a few sratches. Interior without flaw if a tad musty.
