Account of various deception operations in North Africa and occupied Europe; fake weapons and bases, false radio signals, etc., and the politics of Allied coordination in this field. 8vo, black material over boards with gilt lettering on spine, scant wear, red stain to bottom edge, light foxing to others, semi-circular tan stain at top corner of about five pages, old price sticker on front free end paper. Dust jacket, which has a similar stain and is worn with small creases and tears, identifies "book club edition". Underscoring and margin marks observed on two pages and rear DJ flap.
