Engraved and printed at the Camden Press by the brothers Dalziel. 35 full page wood-engravings by A.B.Houghton illustrating poems by various authors. Inscription in ink on front free end paper dated 1879. Occasional blotchy foxing to some pages but much less so than usual. Superb 19th century full morocco binding signed 'Riviere' with gilt decorations on covers and raised bands on the spine and gilt lined edges all round. a.e.g. A lovely copy of an essential 1860's gift book.

I started this particular business in 1981 although I have been dealing in books and works on paper since 1969. I exhibit at the E.T.C. book fair in London at the Royal National Hotel each month and have been doing so for the last 30 years. I have sold works on paper to many of the National Museums and Galleries in Britain and abroad including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the School of Art Museum and Galleries, Aberystwyth and the State Library of Victoria and the Baillieu Library, The University of Melbourne, Australia among others.
