Signed. First Edition. Very Good. Partially unopened. Gilt top edge. 65 pages are unopened. 7 plates. One fold out map. Book has slight wear on all corners, including the head and tail of the spine. There is slight edge wear on the top front cover. Pages are very slightly, evenly toned. The cover and spine are bright with no fading. The gilt portrait on the cover is bright except for the tip of the nose and the eyebrows. No dust jacket. The author has signed on the front free end page (no inscription).
