Cloth over boards is clean with only minor edge rubbing. DJ is lightly edge worn with some scraping at top front, general shelf wear. Spine slightly sunned, DJ rear tanned. DJ flap clipped. Adapted, with additions, from A Book of New England Legends and Folk Lore by Samuel Adams Drake published by Roberts brothers, 1884. Chapter on Cape Cod Towns adapted from a paper contributed by Katharine Lee Bates to Historic Towns of New England, edited by Lyman P. Powll and published by G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1898. ; Photographs; 9.25" tall; 192g pages.
