Boards in green cloth with blue lettering and gilt striping on spine and front cover. Green top stain shows a bit of dust soiling. Interior is unmarked. Small worm hole near bottom edge of pages 35-70. Dust jacket edge-worn; some surface wear on spine; small spot of soiling on rear panel; not price clipped ($2.00); in an archival mylar sleeve. 334 pages. Scarce first printing with dust jacket of the first novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
