About This Item
First edition, so stated, in the publisher's gold-lettered black back-strip over burnt orange boards, octavo, pp. 274. SIGNED by the late Georgia author on the title page. Mrs. Lanier's business card is also laid into the book. Book is in GOOD-only condition with light bumping to bottom board tips. The text block is toned with age, as is common with this publisher, and the glue used by the publisher was not of a highly adhesive nature, resulting in the exposure of the gutter netting between the half title page and the text block. Again, a common occurrence with this publisher. The dust jacket is near Very Good with light shelf wear. Jacket now ensconced in protective mylar
