The edges of the boards have some slight light fading. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket which has been price-clipped, is also slightly faded in parts to the top edge and with chips and tears both of which are now closed (neatly repaired with archive tape to the reverse) where possible - but with some loss mainly to the top of the spine, but not affecting any lettering. The black edges have also been re-coloured and although the d/j is overall just Good it is 98% complete - and is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks much better - Near VG. NO Inscriptions or Marks. VERY Clean and tight internally. An Excellent photo-biography. Forward by Lord Butler of Saffron Walden. 264 large size pages including a chronology of Sir Winston Churchill's life, a list of his books and speeches and index, etc. Lavishly illustrated throughout with numerous black and white and some colour plates. " 'The Churchill Years' chronicles ninety of the most momentous years of British and of world history, relating to the life span of the greatest Englishman of his time, Sir Winston Churchill." This book is overweight and very heavy and MAY require extra postage depending on your location. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
