London: Sandle Brothers Ltd. Good with No dust jacket as issued. 1950. Presumed First UK Edition. Hardcover. In the original full colour pictorial paper-covered thick board covers, with a (cloth looking) patterned paper spine - slightly scraped near the bottom half. Front cover is a little bowed and bumped on corners, through to the board in places, with a few scratches and a little edge-wear to all extremities. Some marks and an indent to the very bottom of the rear board and a closed tear to the top of the back cover. Internally VG - Both Pop-ups working well, clean tight and bright and with NO Inscriptions or Marks.10 full colour pages, including the covers = 2 double page pop-ups + 2 double page colour illustrated text. The 2 pop-ups show 'The Railway Station' & 'The Harbour' - each story having 2 pages of colour illustrated description, all printed on paper on a thick board. No Artist noted. NO Date shown, but circa late 1940s/early 1950s. Printed in the Netherlands. See Images; Oblong 4to 11" - 12" tall .
