United States Book Company as successor to John W. Lovell Company, 1890. First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good. First U.S. edition, with all first issue points. 12mo in burgundy cloth, bevelled boards, titles in gilt on the spine and front board, Lovell name at the bottom of the spine, address on the title page, cr notice dated 1890 on title page verso. Binding tight and square, hinges complete and firm, just the tiniest touch of rubbing at the corners and spine ends, very neat p.o. note dated 1891 on the ffep. A very nice copy you wouldn't hesitate to call VG+.
