Fair condition; dustwrapper very rubbed and torn, with tape stains from old repairs; previous owner's name on front free endpaper; title page hinge split, and reinforced with archival tape; considerable underlining and annotation. Afrikaans text. Early defence of the Nationalists' apartheid policy. "In hoofsaak het die skrywers hulle daarop toegespits om 'n sosio-historiese ontleding van die wortels van die apartheidsgedagte te doen, en om 'n beskrywing te gee van die evolusieproses wat dit deurgemaak het voordat dit in die laat veertiger jare van die twintigste eeu in 'n definitiewe en prinsipieel duidelik gefundeerde formule vir die regulering van Suid-Afrika se rasseverhoudinge, en vir die blywende oplossing van sy kleurvraagstukke, uitgekristalliseer het." .
