(no place: Africa Institute, 1969). 250 x 200 mm; side-stitched printed wrappers; pp. (i) + 34 + 7 (printed recto's); tables; several folding maps, in colours. Wrappers a bit mottled; staples rusted; archival tape reinforcing to spine; slight bump to bottom fore-corner; a little foxing. Good condition. Afrikaans text. The maps bear the emblem of the Africa Institute of South Africa, Dr. Philippus Smit then being the head of the geography section. The Africa Institute is credited with the publication of this work in on-line library catalogues. From the upper cover: "Openingsreferaat. Vierjaarlikse Kongres van die Vereniging vir Aardrykskunde-Onderwys. Julie 1969." .
