About This Item

Boston & New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1902. John Fiske (1842-1901), an American historian and philosopher, popularized Darwin. Despite his popularity, his work is uncommon tody. Red cloth binding, ruled in gilt and with a reproduced signature on the front cover, gilt lettering on the spine.
