A catalogue of 141 books or sets (308 volumes) held by the Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo which formerly belonged to the library of Adam Smith, including 62 (98 volumes) in English, 34 (43 volumes) in Latin, 28 (92 volumes) in French, 15 (73 volumes) in Italian, and 2 in German. The subjects of these books cover the wide range of philosophy, literature and poetry, politics, history and biography, geography and topography of various countries, travels, natural history, religion, arts, art of war, language, mathematics, etc., but no book on economics save the chief work of Adam Smith himself and its German translation. Covers duststained, otherwise Good.
