The pages and distinctive colour illustrations by Edward Gorey are in excellent condition throughout and are squarely bound. Book sits solid and tight and is in as new condition. Housed in the matching dustwrapper which has been neatly priceclipped. Protected in a removable archival book sleeve to preserve its condition. The photograph provided is a picture of the book and the dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images on request. A lovely, fresh example of this much loved book from the strange and wonderful world of Edward Gorey. This is the first printing and has been SIGNED by Edward Gorey on a special Harcourt, Brace and Co. publishers bookplate which has been carefully affixed to the front free endpaper.
