About This Item
no city, CA: Wheeler of California, 1948. Pamphlet. 11p., softbound, a large (9.5x12 inches) pamphlet stapled into decorated wraps. Plates exhibit patterns appropriated for widths 3/4" to 2" (with rather little variation, it seems to us), quite edgeworn and dust-soiled with severe abrasion to spinefold and a penciled ownership. As is. Pedestrian, if classic, leaf, flower and acorn motifs. "These new and different design sheets employ detailed photographs that enable you to see the actual tool marks on the pattern... to tell at a glance what tools are used and how they are applied. The greatest aid to leatherworkers ever created, and the only patented design sheets in the leathercraft field.
