This novel is a revised version of the Christian tale of an imagined heavenly war between angels led by Archangel Michael versus others led by Satan. Rendered into English by an unattributed translator. --- In Toledano spine #5 / full blue balloon cloth-covered limp boards / gilt titling and grapevine decorations on spine / gilt-stamped torchbearer device to front cover / dark topstain / blue Kent endpapers. Lacks the dust jacket. Likely published c.1929-30 (though 1914 date appears in book). ML #11.2. --- With conspicuous sunning to spine, brown soiling to first few pages and textblock fore-edge, else a tightly-bound, sound copy. Note: This item scarce in this edition.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; (10), 7-348 pages .
