Original printed cloth, pictorial onlay to front cover. Near fine. Peel 2004 . NOTE: PUBLISHER OMITTED TO INCLUDE A 2-PAGE ACCOUNT OF TRAVEL AND PROVIDED IT AS A LOOSE ADDITION. WITHOUT THAT "OMISSIONS PAGE" A FIRST EDITION WOULD BE INCOMPLETE. MY COPY HAS THAT PAGE. Mair was secretary of the commission negotiating the 1899 Peace River treaty
