Description:
Newaygo County, MI: The Author. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1985. First Edition. Softcover. The author has identified all current and historical place names in Newaygo County (including rivers, lakes and streams) and identified their locations according to the township and range identification system. There are many short ( a sentence or two) descriptions of places named in this booklet. This is an uncommon item. A previous owner has apparantly added three hole punches near spine edge to place the booklet in a binder (it was apparantly mis-punched as two extra holes were added). These holes are in the inner margin of the booklet--no text is affected. Previous owner small name stamp on inside of front and rear wrapper as well as the top of the first page--no other markings inside or out. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book. A scarce item despite its relatively recent date. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 36 pages .
