This is a sexually implicit album of women wrestling naked or partially nude. This 10 7/8" x 11 1/2" three ring binder of 18 leaves/36 pages contains 137 photographs, including several photos in each of the 10 contact sheets. Also, there are three sheets of illustrations. Headshots of the "Lady Wrestlers" for hire are provided with a stamp on verso which entices: "For Booking's contact World Wide Women's Wrestling Assoc. ... Van Nuys, California or call Mildred Burke...". These action shots display these women in playful and compromising positions. Written on the first page of this album is "Miss Elizabeth R. Hotchkiss, her book - 1900. (She became Mrs. Ed R. Johnson in 1901). Photos most all by Ed R. Johnson, also prints." Bess (short for Elizabeth) is pictured on the first page beside a view of the railroad tracks through the Berkshire Hills (Massachusetts) in the year 1900. Many photos telltale the life and works around Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - where the couple moved around 1905. Earlier photos depict life on Sodus Bay, Lake Ontario, where each partner's families had summer homes - is that where these young lovers met? A number of stunning pictures capture the period's climate and infrastructure. There is a cyanotype which captures an impressive iceberg in Lake Michigan, about twelve feet above the water's surface off the shore of Milwaukee, WI. 10" x 62" panoramic photo identified in pencil on the verso as Springfield, Massachusetts. The photographer is credited as the Haines Photo Co, in Conneaut, Ohio and it is dated 1909. Nice view of city streets and trolley cars. There are a couple of minor creases and the right and left borders have some stains and a small tear. Much has changed in 111 years since this was taken. A casino now beckons one from the highway to come take a chance.

11.25 x 7.25" brown string-bound album with a bust of a Native American embossed on the front cover along with a vase of flowers. Contains 24 photos, including cyanotypes, showing a family and scenes from the mining district in Leadville, Colorado. The album dates to around the 1890s, though there are no annotations. The album begins with snapshots of a family sitting outside of a house accompanied by their many dogs. The album then moves onto a photo postcard showing Dayton and Twin Lakes near Leadville, Colo. and cyanotypes showing the landscape of the Leadville mining district with a shot of men sitting by the entrance to a mine, views of felled trees, a street scene, etc. Photographs measure between 4 x 4.5" and 8 x 4.5" and are glued to the pages, and most pages have only one photo per page. A few photos have some spots, and it looks like some of the photos have writing on the verso, though I did not remove any.

Lot of three 3.5" x 4.875" vintage snapshots of a Leon Russell concert, dated 11/6/1976 written on the back. The photos show him singing his ass off while playing the piano, and one shot features the whole 9 piece band on stage. A piece of rock 'n' roll history!

The heated, horny early-nineties journals of a gal named Kara, include five notebooks with roughly 800 pages in total. They are filled to the brim with sadomasochistic lesbian scenes and stories. One of the notebooks has to do with a college photography class. There are also 15 photographs (many of which are explicit/graphic). The writer is expressly filled with rage, fear, resentment, lust, shame, and waxes extensively in these self-conscious journals. Written between 1992-1994, these documents provide a glimpse into the private lives of lesbian Dom/sub, S/M sub-culture in San Francisco. This fascinating album measures 7.25 x 12.25" and is beige with a reptile pattern on the covers. This circa 1960s album has around 130 stunning black and white photos of what appears to be the daily life of people in Tunisia, which can be inferred based on part of a flag glimpsed in one of the photos. The photos are very crisp and clear and the photographer clearly had a good eye and seemingly a relationship with his subjects. The photographer seemed especially concerned with the lives of everyday people in the country, with simple yet moving photos of mothers, children, street vendors, markets, and possibly guards from Tunisia. Photos measure between 3 x 3" and 5 x 3.5" and are not annotated. The photos are housed in plastic sleeve pages which fold out. About half of the album is unused.

A fun collection of amateur sports photos, mostly football, in black and white, from the early 1930s. The album is well preserved, with only minor issues of rubbing and fraying. 45 black leaves/90 pages, a couple detached; last six leaves unused and on most of the leaves only the recto is utilized, the verso blank; There are over 150 photos included, with 19 loose and tucked in; only a couple of photos appear to be missing. Many of the football shots are staged "action scenes", all teammates smiling and clearly having fun - running, jumping, tackling, hiking, etc. One full-page photo, presented sideways, shows our hero with a basketball; otherwise, there are many baseball photos, both in-game action and player/team portraits. Numerous photos depict graduation day, with caps and gowns; many small portraits show various sweethearts and co-eds; some nice beachside scenes, and some typical homes in Los Angeles. 7" x 8.5" leather bound memory books with "Autographs" in gilded letters on the cover. The album belonged to Clara F. Dodge of Compton Village, NH, whose name is written in a colorful display on the first page. Most of the dates are from the mid 1870s, and many start with "Dear Teacher." There are about 75 different entries in the book, including a calligraphy flourish, a painting, a drawing, some lines written in code, etc. There are also some locks of hair, and slips of paper inserted into the pages, including one from her son, Everett Davis, in 1893. The outer part of the spine is gone and there is some edge wear and rubbing. A lovely keepsake.

A collection of nineteen snapshots from the 1940s - 1970s showing photos related to Ludwig Oil, including trucks and gas stations. Two business cards are included with an address from Kennewick Avenue in Kennewick, Washington, and a photo and a card are identified as Millie Ludwig. In good overall condition.

This small archive (it fills a manila envelope about an inch-and-a-half thick) functions as a sort of guide to swinging and cuckolding. It contains odd bits of ephemera, phamplets selling various pornographic publications (Nurse In Rubber and The Love Pavilion, to name two) a few color snapshots of a partially-clothed woman (who may be Bonnie Lee Blakely), a black & white snapshot of a penis (suitably erect), an eighteen page, hand-written short story about a young woman sent to a French finishing school where lesbian sex seems to be the only subject, a number of empty envelopes, several with a return address but no mailing address, some with an uncancelled stamp, some with a code of numbers and letters which let swingers, or wannabe swingers, connect through magazines like Mature or Sinners without revealing their identities.
