Some of Savannah's most beautiful historic homes and public buildings were designed by John Norris including Williams- Mercer House (wasn't that in some book a few years back.), the Andrew Low House(childhood home of Juliet Low), the beautiful Unites States Custom House on East Bay, and the first home of the Georgia Historical Society on East Bryan Street. This beautiful and informative book was published by Beehive Press in 1980, does a lovely job of showcasing his work. Book Condition is Very Fine; gray cloth over boards with silver lettering on spine. 62pp. First Edition. Clean, with no marking or soiling. Tight binding with sharp corners. Black and white photographs of buildings, with many interior pictures. Appendices, notes, bibliography and secondary sources. Dust Jacket Condition is Fine; matte navy jacket with very light touches at the very ends of corners and top and bottom jacket. No tears or nicks. A truly handsome copy.
