First blank page is covered with very impressive ink washes including an inscription to an Allen, with a self portrait, signed "Hutton" and dated 1953 (John Hutton? well known New Zealand artist who spent much of his career in England? - see picture). Excellent selection of tipped-in color plates. No jacket. 488 pp.

Washington DC: The Phillips Collection. 1984. Presumed 1st. Very nice copy, tight and unmarked with minimal edgewear. Essays by Denys Sutton and Nanjo Akihiro. Many color plates illustrating this wonderful but little known painter.

Charles Scribner's Sons, NY. 1930. First edition. Ex-University Library, no cardholder, date due slip with a few 1940s check outs. Couple of library stamps inside and top edge, no other indicators found. Orange cloth boards with light wear, no jacket. Front hinge weakening but secure. Translated by Edward William Lane with wood engravings from original designs by William Harvey. Deckled edges. Uncommon Scribner's edition. VERY GOOD. 1388 pp.

Los Angeles: Self-Realization Fellowship. 1954, Fifth edition stated. VG/GOOD. Binding tight, pages clean/off white and unmarked. Teal boards faded, much of lettering obscured on spine, minor edge wear. Dark area in front because paper laid in, owner name penned front board. Interior very nice otherwise. Unclipped Dj ($3.50) chipped, crease to front, now mylar protected. 501 pp + index.

New York, NY: Maxton Publishers. Copyright 1950 on title page, 1st American edition (First edition UK 1939). Produced by Spring House, Springfield, Mass. Spiral-bound softcover, oblong format. Clean and unmarked with only light wear at wrapper extremities, interior is excellent with absolutely no issues including all five working POP-UPs in tip top condition. A little flaring to wraps. Interior is FINE, wraps VG++. Illustrations and Pop-Ups by Marion Guild. 19 unnumbered pages.

Exhibition catalogue celebrating the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth with Text by Rainer Michael Mason, Avigdor Arikha, Pierre Alechinsky, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Werner Spies, Samuel Beckett, et al. French text. One page removed apparently by a razor blade, pp. 137-138 with a plate on each page recto & verso otherwise a clean, tight copy with minimal edge/shelfwear. White wrappers in pictorial Dust Jacket with french flaps, lightly soiled. VG/VG. Numerous color and b&w illustrations and photographs. Oversized and heavy may require extra postage. 334 pp.

Red cloth boards with silver lettering front and spine. Author Allen Leepa, longtime friend and himself a painter, quotes generously from Rattner's unpublished notebooks and taped interviews with the artist. 235 pp.

Henry Harrison, New York. 1929, First edition. Inscribed/SIGNED by Norman Macleod (one of the five poets included) with a 1929 date. Five full page illustrations by Herbert E. Fouts. Including works by Edith Mirick (first time published), Isobel Stone, Jewell Miller, Norman Macleod, and Benjamin Musser. VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD. Deckled edges. Green cloth boards (pictorial front with a lighter green "5" and the names of the five poets) have a few small scrapes. Mylar protected dust jacket NOT clipped ($2.25), has a few small losses/chips at extremities, a 1 1/2" closed tear at spine heel and moderate general wear (looks good in archival sleeve). Three pages found with small losses at top edges. 127 pp.

Dodd, Mead, 1951. NEAR FINE/VERY GOOD-. Presumed 1st, not stated. Small areas of discoloration upper front and rear boards (light blue) near spine otherwise an excellent copy. Previous owner name ffep otherwise unmarked. Dust jacket has chipping top edges, heel of spine and corners (see picture), also original $2.75 on front flap not clipped but covered with a blank sticker. 86 pp.

FINE/NEAR FINE. Excellent copy with no issues except for previous owner name to front pastedown. Appears unread. In a very nice original dust jacket (see pic) with light edgewear at corners. "Edited, translated, and in part recast by Wade Baskin". No printing information given. 83 pp.
