This is a superb 1937 travel booklet, "VACATION DAYS IN NOVA SCOTIA," published by Eastern Steamship Lines and Dominion Atlantic Railway. 9 1/8" X 4" opens to 9 1/8 X 8." 24 pages. Chock-full of period black and white illustrations plus a full color map at the centerfold. Nice color art work on the outer "cover."Still clean and crisp although 78 years old - I would rate this piece as "FINE.". Soft cover. Fine/No Jacket.

This is a charming 111 year old travel guide published by the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad: "AROUND THE CIRCLE A THOUSAND MILES THROUGH THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS." 8 1/8" X 6" in paper covers. A bit faded around the edges of the front cover, top front corner dogeared. Otherwise, excellent inside and out. There are photos nearly every other page. 56 pages. Al Paul Lefton Co., inc., Philadelphia 9.125" X 3.75" folded like a map - opens to 11.5" X 18.25". A few very minor abrasions on front; otherwise excellent. This is a circa 1932-33 ad for Booth's pale dry Ginger Ale. It is advertised here as a mixer for various alcoholic drinks - to be used "After Repeal." First unfolding shows a ship [see photo] with numerous cocktail recipes on its sails. Next unfolding shows a map with about 40 recipes on the map or in a list next to it. Old and Nifty!!. Soft cover. This is a collection of Approx. 260 OLD late 19th to early 20th century cigar bands. It takes the form of a small [5 7/8" X 3 3/8"] bound memo book with slits in each page to accomodate 5 cigar bands each. It does not appear that there are any duplicates. There are 5 very large bands along with those of the usual size. Pictures upon request. M/P/EKH. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.

Essentially this is a staple bound pamphlet with extra long pages which have been cleverly folded to yield 56 total pages. The pages one one side can be made to line up against those of the other so that rosters, etc. can be compared. Thumbnail descriptions of the teams plus stadiums, Schedules, colors, records, etc. also given. Remarkably nice condition: VERY GOOD or better.. 1st Edition. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket.

Minor shelf wear, but front cover has been darkened by being exposed to newsprint or some other acidic paper. Otherwise, nice: VERY GOOD condition.
