German language, 1931, 20th edition, published by Karl Baedeker, Leipzig, 654 pages, containing numerous coloured maps of areas, towns and streets, including a number that fold out.

Flexible red cloth boards and spine. Spine has two tape repairs to outer hinges. Boards are a little scuffed but have retained much of their colour. Signs of rubbing and shelf-wear. Corners bumped and a little torn. Binding reasonably firm though strained in several places. Hinges intact. Page edges patterned, a little browned but quite clean. Previous owner name in pen and a little pencil marking to one of first endpapers but otherwise page surfaces are quite clean, a little tanned and there are odd creases and little tears, but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.

Sextodecimo size (5" x 7.5") with dark blue/black cloth boards and spine and cream dust jacket. Dust jacket is worn, with tears and chips as well as marking, foxing and scuffing, whilst front inner flap has been clipped (though unclear why as original price is visible on a different part of the flap). Some damp staining to binding and endpapers but contents of book are good. Boards and spine very marked and scuffed, top of spine has lost rigidity. Corners a little bumped. Binding reasonably firm though a bit strained in places. A little marking to page edges but generally clean. Hardback, second edition, year uncertain but appears to be either 1888 or 1889 (FFEP has inscription from Christmas 1889) published by S. W. Partridge & Co., London, 94 pages with a 16-page catalogue of other releases from the same publisher at the end of the book.
In good condition for age. Some fading to spine but patterning and lettering still quite clear. Attractive pictorial boards, which do have scuffs, marks and some discolouration but have retained much of their colour, patterning and gilt detail. Signs of rubbing and shelf-wear. Corners bumped. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges a little marked but very clean for age. Hardback, undated but circa 1900, first edition, illustrated, published by Gall and Inglis, London, 240 pages+.
Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 5/8" by 5 1/4" by 1 1/8". Blue cloth binding with attractive multi-coloured pictorial detail, black lettering, gilt label to spine. A little marking and scuffing to binding but quite clean and colouring still very vivid. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Some slackness to binding but contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed, foxed and a marked, with staining to upper edges. Some marking and foxing to endpapers, Sunday School prize-giving bookplate to front pastedown. Some foxing and marking to page surfaces but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
