Binding dull, spine and corners a bit rubbed, endpapers and a few pages dusty, stitching a little loose, but an acceptable copy. Bookplate of Sir Edward W Watkin, the great railway entrepreneur who became chairman of nine different railway companies.

Manchester University Press,1971, pp.xiv 110, frontis. and 3 illustrations. A very clean copy in price-clipped d.w. which is now in a loose protective cover.

London, Merlin Press, 1967, two volumes,pp.ix,v,1032. Facsimile editon of the original journal published in London in 1852 by J. Pavey. Signature on endpapers of both volumes, dust jackets browned to the spines, but a very good, sound set. Quite heavy so extra postage may be required. Use "ask bookseller a question" for a quote.
